I am so happy to be at Ascent this school year! This year will be my third year teaching.

I graduated from Weber State University in 2022 with BA degrees in English and History. I will be returning to WSU to start my MA degree in English Literature during the Fall semester of 2024.

I’m excited to teach all of the junior high students and support them on their academic journeys. 

English and theatre are amazing! The subjects I teach are not only part of my job, but are my passion as well. 

When I’m not teaching, I’m rummaging through used book stores in SLC for interesting finds, listening to music, reading, watching films (everything from period pieces to horror films), playing video games, and spending time with my spouse and our two cats – Gatsby and Beatrix.
