Hi, my name is Jenny Gray. I’m excited to be teaching 2nd Grade at Ascent this year. After ten years of long term subbing, three of those being at Ascent, I’ve decided to take the leap into my own classroom. My youngest graduated from high school this year and now it’s time for me to go back to school. I have a wonderful husband and two children.

My family moved to Farmington 9 years ago. We love this community. As a certified yoga instructor I’ve taught at many classes here in Davis county over the last ten years. Through those classes and substituting I have found a passion for helping others see the best in themselves. 

I love to be outside. I’ve run two 50k’s and done many trail races. I’ve slowed down a lot and have settled into long hikes. I love these Utah trails and try to climb Timpanogos a few times a year. I also recently started foraging mushrooms. The elusive morel is my favorite. 

Second grade is a magical time. My goal is to create a supportive environment where children can find their own strength and confidence.
