My name is Jana Arntsen!  I am so excited to be a part of Ascent Academy as a Second grade teacher!  In the past I have taught both first and Second grade. I was also an art specialist and lucky enough to teach art in kindergarten through sixth grade, it was awesome.  I love the genuine and passionate energy that kids bring so naturally to everything they do.  I am excited to soak that up this next year.

I am a mom to 3 awesome boys, and a bonus mom to 3 awesome girls.  We love spending time together hiking and pla;ying with our sweet dog.  

In my spare time I love to do yoga and bake yummy food.  I was never into sports growing up, but watching my kids play in a sport they love is my favorite thing!

I can't wait to see what this year brings!  Grateful to be a part of this community!
