Hello! My name is Julie Miller and I am so excited to be teaching First Grade! I am originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. I attended school at Weber State University. (Weber State! Weber State! Great! Great! Great!) My degree is in English and Art History. I have been fortunate enough to have worked at Ascent Academy for the past 5 years-part of that time in Kindergarten and then in First Grade. I have loved every minute of it!

I am married to the cutest guy on earth and have four kids-two girls and two boys. My family are my favorite people and I love hanging out with them. As a former military family, we have been able to live all over the United States. We have been settled in Farmington for 15 years, and love living in this beautiful place.

I am a total Disney nerd and love to visit the parks whenever I can. I love traveling and going on new adventures. I love the beach and being on the water. I think Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are the most delicious treat on earth. One of my favorite things to do is laugh and I wake up thinking that every day is going to be the best day ever!

I feel so honored to be working in First Grade. There is such magic in watching kiddos develop a love for reading and gain self-confidence as they learn. First Grade rocks!
